We are Galahad Creative, a small UK-based studio building games and software with a clear focus on simplicity. Founded in 2020, we work as a remote-first team spread across the world, united by the same goal to make things that are easy to use, enjoyable, and free from unnecessary bloat. Our products are played by hundreds of thousands of people, with SimpleMMO surpassing one million downloads and IdleMMO reaching over 300,000 players.

We believe good software should feel natural. That means clear design, thoughtful UX, and features that exist for a reason. We care less about packing everything in and more about doing a few things really well. We’re constantly iterating, refining, and improving our own work, because nothing is ever finished and there’s always room to make things better.

Our Philosophy

Simplicity is a deliberate choice for us. We started with a simple belief that software should feel good to use. As many products have grown heavier, more complex, and harder to maintain, we chose to move in the opposite direction, focusing on experiences that stay light, clear, and easy to live with.

As technology moves forward, bloat often comes with it. Games grow into hundreds of gigabytes, systems grow inefficient and fragile, and maintenance gets harder instead of easier. We deliberately push back against that trend by chasing a featherweight goal, building products that stay efficient, maintainable, and built to last.

We are not pretending we get everything right straight away. We believe in iterating, learning, and improving as we go. But the goal itself is clear, and it sits at the heart of everything we build.

We also believe clarity matters beyond just design. Our monetisation for our games are intentionally open and predictable, so players know exactly what to expect. It is built to keep our games sustainable without sacrificing their integrity or sliding into pay to win mechanics that undermine the experience.

Transparency runs through how we build and balance our games. We favour a slow, steady rollout of features on top of a solid foundation rather than piling on complexity for short-term gains. Every addition should earn its place.

Above all, our games and software are built with longevity in mind. Sustainable systems, thoughtful growth, and continual refinement are how we make sure what we create stays enjoyable today and viable for years to come. SimpleMMO is a good example of that approach. It began as a solo project by the founder and is now over eight years old, predating the company itself. That long-term mindset continues to shape everything we build today.
